This world offers many different choices for what it means to Have Life.
The LIFE the Bible offers is different from all the others.
The Bible describes a Perfect God who Rescues Imperfect People by giving Present and Eternal LIFE abundantly worth having and sharing.
Reading and pondering the Bible itself is
FAR MORE IMPORTANT
Than reading what I or anyone may write or say about it!
If what I write does not prompt you to ponder the Bible text itself,
I have missed my goal.

LIFE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Psalm 1: "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers :2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD and on his law he meditates day and night."

John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

Judges 21:25 "In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned —every one—to his own way; …"

It is easy to think of the Christian LIFE as just a part of life. But in reality when God rescues a person He makes them a "new creation" with "LIFE abundant." And this LIFE affects everything in and around the True Saint. The Bible applies to every area of our lives. It is appropriate and valuable to ask how every Bible passage describes GOD, myself, and others.

Have a BLESSED LIFE?

Psalm 1 "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is lika a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, for the LORD knows the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish."

John 10:10 Jesus said: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Other times the Bible mentions “have life:"
John 20:31 "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
1John 5:12 "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life."
John 5:40 "yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life."
