What Does It Mean To Have LIFE?

This world offers many different choices.
The LIFE the Bible offers is different from all the others.
There is a GOD who rescues humanity from their well deserved present and eternal death spiral. This GOD rescues people by taking their death penalty upon Himself, not because they earn or deserve it, but because He loves them profoundly. This GOD, though executed and buried, took back His own LIFE, conquering death. He gives His new and Abundant LIFE to anyone who truly believes in Who He is and in what He has done for them. This New Abundant LIFE begins at the moment of belief and extends forever into Heaven. Who is the GOD Who “has blessed us in Himself with every spiritual blessing?” This GOD is Jesus Christ! He said that He “came that we may have LIFE and have it abundantly.”
Do you have HIS LIFE?
By reading the Bible anyone can learn all about Who Jesus Christ Is and what He has done and will do.

Reading and pondering the Bible itself is FAR MORE IMPORTANT
than reading what I or anyone may write or say about it!
If what I write does not prompt you to ponder the Bible text itself,
I have missed my goal.

Have a BLESSED LIFE?

Psalm 1

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is lika a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, for the LORD knows the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish."

Jesus said: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

LIFE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Judges 21:25 "In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned —every one—to his own way; …"

It is easy to think of the Christian LIFE as just a part of life. But in reality when God rescues a person He makes them a "new creation" with "LIFE abundant." And this LIFE affects everything in and around the True Saint. The Bible applies to every area of our lives. It is appropriate and valuable to ask how every Bible passage describes GOD, myself, and others.
