This world offers many different choices for what it means to Have Life.
The LIFE the Bible offers is different from all the others.
The Bible describes a Perfect God who Rescues Imperfect People by giving Present and Eternal LIFE abundantly worth having and sharing.
Reading and pondering the Bible itself is
FAR MORE IMPORTANT
Than reading what I or anyone may write or say about it!
If what I write does not prompt you to ponder the Bible text itself,
I have missed my goal.

LIFE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Psalm 1: "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers :2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD and on his law he meditates day and night."

John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

Judges 21:25 "In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned —every one—to his own way; …"

It is easy to think of the Christian LIFE as just a part of life. But in reality when God rescues a person He makes them a "new creation" with "LIFE abundant." And this LIFE affects everything in and around the True Saint. The Bible applies to every area of our lives. It is appropriate and valuable to ask how every Bible passage describes GOD, myself, and others.

Have a BLESSED LIFE?

Psalm 1 "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is lika a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, for the LORD knows the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish."

John 10:10 Jesus said: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Other times the Bible mentions “have life:"
John 20:31 "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
1John 5:12 "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life."
John 5:40 "yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life."

How “Intelligent” is “Artificial Intelligence?”
The words that modern science and culture use to describe the developing capabilities of computers is interesting and revealing.
Britannica describes “Artificial intelligence” this way: “artificial intelligence (AI), the ability of a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings. The term is frequently applied to the project of developing systems endowed with the intellectual processes characteristic of humans, such as the ability to reason, discover meaning, generalize, or learn from past experience.”
 
Why would seemingly intelligent and wise people use the word “artificial” to describe the capabilities of man-made machines?
 
Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes “artificial”:
“As in unnatural … lacking a natural or spontaneous quality
Synonyms & Similar words: false / simulated / strained / fake / pseudo / mock / mechanical / exaggerated”
“Antonyms: natural / authentic / real / right / genuine / realistic / true /“
 
It seems that while recognizing the amazing characteristics of human intelligence they minimize its most remarkable attributes. To claim that human intelligence can be replicated by mere mathematical algorithms and electrical connections completely disregards the spiritual dimension of human thought capabilities. Perhaps in using the word “artificial” to describe computer intelligence the admission is made that in reality human intelligence is far more complicated and capable than any machines man can make. Even more serious is the refusal to recognize the God Who created not only the world around us but the mind we use to know and relate with Him. The consequences of this refusal are artificial hopes and plans about our present and eternal life.
 
Addressing our observations and understanding of the world around us, the Bible in Romans 1 says this about our human heart and mind:
:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.”
