JNE OBSERVATIONS OF:
Individuals can find the quoted texts and read the contexts if they choose to do so.
The Correctness of these Chapters....
? Why "compare Isaiah..." if Bible is unreliable? Is not Book of Mormon enough? LDS seem to want to discredit the Bible and credit it at the same time
? Could these titles from Isaiah 1-9 possibly apply to one who was simply an exalted man?
-LORD - 45 times including 6:1-3 "In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!”
-The Holy One of Israel -3 times
-LORD of Hosts - 13 times
-LORD GOD of Hosts - 2 times
-Our God - 1 time
-Holy God - 1time
-Mighty One of Israel - 1 time
-God of Jacob - 1 time
-His Glorious Presence - 1 time
-The King, the LORD of Hosts - 1 time
-Lord God - 1 time
-LORD your God - 1 time
-God - 4 times
-Immanuel - 1 time
-Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - 1 time
? 2Nephi 17 - One of seven times the Book of Mormon describes Mary as a "virgin." But some LDS authorities have taught that Jesus was not born of a virgin. i.e.: Bruce R. McConkie: Mormon Doctrine, pp 546-47, 742
"Christ was begotten by an Immortal Father in the same way that mortal men are begotten by mortal fathers ...
And Christ was born into the world as the literal Son of this Holy Being; he was born in the same personal, real, and literal sense that any mortal son is born to a mortal father. There is nothing figurative about his paternity; he was begotten, conceived and born in the normal and natural course of events,...Christ is the Son of Man, meaning that his Father (the Eternal God!) is a Holy Man."
It cannot be that both views are true.

"Temple" is mentioned once in these chapters and it is a quote from Isaiah 6 about the Lord's train filling the Temple. Nothing about LDS temples or their ceremonies.
