Reading thru the Book of Mormon?

WHY I QUIT BLOGGING

As you read the Book of Mormon
Be sure to think about
how each week's reading
fulfills the claims made about the Book

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
has called the Book of Mormon
"the most correct book on earth"
"the keystone of the LDS Religion"
the book which
"would get a man nearer to God than any other book."

It is claimed that the Book of Mormon contains:
"The Fullness of the Gospel, the Restored Gospel,"
"Plain and Precious" Gospel truths such as:
Heavenly Father is an exalted Man - Three separate Gods -
Our Pre-Mortal existence as spirit children -
Faithfully doing all we can to receive God's Grace -
Three Kingdoms of Glory - Church Organization -
Present Day Apostles, Seers, Revelators - Personal Revelation -
Eternal Life is Exaltation like God -
Temple Endowments, Sealings, Baptisms for the dead, Marriage -
and numerous other essential doctrines lost or rejected by
the "apostate churches."
I challenge you to carefully look for these things
as you read through the Book of Mormon.

CFM Week Theme: He Shall Rise ... With Healing In His Wings
CFM: Because of Jesus Christ, I will be resurrected
>JNE: The question is not "will I be resurrected?' The question is will I, in my life after death, experience Eternal LIFE in the presence of God, or eternal separation from God.
CFM: Jesus Christ took upon Himself my sins, pains, and infirmities.
>JNE: Did Jesus take upon Himself our migraine headaches, our cancers? Or did He take upon Himself the fundamental source of all malady which is our sin?
CFM: Jesus Christ can cleanse me and help perfect me.
>JNE: My experience is that the only thing I am capable of perfecting in myself is pride. I need God to both cleanse me and perfect me, and that is what I believe Jesus does. He gets ALL the credit and glory.

The Correctness of these Chapters...
Mosiah 3:7 And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.
??? Is it really the suffering of temptations, bodily pains, hunger, thirst, and fatigue that led to Jesus sweating drops of blood? Was it not the pain of my sin that Jesus suffered?
Mosiah 15:5 And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God,
??? Again the phrase "one God," applied to the Spirit, the Son and the Father. Or perhaps more literally in this verse "the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit" explained as: "or the Son to the Father, (the Spirit)." And these "being one God." If this means "one in unity of purpose" as LDS doctrine teaches, why doesn't it say so rather than the simple "one God.?"
Mosiah 15:8 And thus God breaketh the bands of death, having gained the victory over death; giving the Son power to make intercession for the children of men
??? Yes, Jesus gained victory over death, but He had already demonstrated numerous times His power to make intercession. In fact His crucifixion was the ultimate intercession, with His own life paying our penalty for sin.
