CFM Week Theme: We Rejoice In Christ
CFM: I can find peace in Jesus Christ
>JNE: Does this mean peace in Jesus, or peace in doing things to gain peace with Him?
CFM: The Lord is gathering His people
>JNE: The "His People, Jews of Isaiah," or "His People, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?
CFM: The worldliness of Babylon will fall
>JNE: Will it "fall" or will it be "destroyed" as Isaiah says? There is a difference.
CFM: We talk of Christ ... we rejoice in Christ
>JNE: Do you do it like Nephi says: "And now behold I say unto you, that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel: wherefore ye must bow down before him and worship him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this, ye shall in nowise be cast out."
And if not, will you be "cast out?"

JNE OBSERVATIONS OF:
Individuals can find the quoted texts and read the contexts if they choose to do so.
The Correctness of these Chapters....
Compare Isaiah 10-14?
? How many people actually read both Isaiah and the Book of Mormon to compare them? Why do they need to if Nephi has made Isaiah plain by his prophecy in chapter 25? Why, really, did Nehpi need to quote Isaiah if he was going say the same things more plainly? Could it be that the author (Joseph Smith) of the Book of Mormon sought to authenticate it by tying it to the Old Testament?
? 2Nephi 25:19 "For according to the words of the prophets, the Messiah cometh in six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem; and according to the words of the prophets, and also the word of the angel of God, his name shall be Jesus Christ the Son of God."
---? which prophets? no Bible prophets mention the name of the Messiah being "Jesus Christ." Is this one of the plain and precious things taken out of the Bible? Why quote Isaiah if it leaves out such an important thing as the name of the Messiah?
? 2Nephi 25:21,22 "Wherefore, for this cause hath the Lord God promised unto me that these things which I write, shall be kept and preserved, and handed down unto my seed, from generation to generation, ... Wherefore, these things shall go from generation to generation, as long as the earth shall stand; and they shall go according to the will and pleasure of God; and the nations which shall possess them, shall be judged of them according to the words which are written"
---? Why were there many generations who did not have Nephi's written words while the one copy was hidden in a box in the hill in NY? If there were other copies, why have none of them ever been found?
? In the last verses of 2Nephi 25. "We keep the law of Moses...we speak concerning the law, that our children may know the deadness of the law; ... ye must keep the the performances and ordinances of God, until the law shall be fulfilled which was given unto Moses."
---? If the law was fulfilled by Jesus, why do LDS still seek to keep the performances and ordinances of God? Or are the Latter Day performances and ordinances different from those given to Moses?
? Does any of this seem "plain?"

__Plan of Salvation? __Church? __Temples?
__Kingdoms of Glory? __The Godhead?
25:23 "...for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all that we can do." --- no descriptions of "all that we can do." Must be something different from the performances and ordinances that "Jesus fulfilled and made dead to us."
Nothing about restored church, temples, kingdoms, Godhead
